Waste
solutions

Managing industrial waste goes beyond finding a buyer: it requires mastery of recovery channels, logistics and regulations, as well as a trade-off between technical performance and economic viability.

Our approach

Trading partner for more than 25 materials

Valo-Solutions acts as a trading partner for more than 25 materials. Our approach rests on a clear principle: everything that can be treated in Switzerland is treated in Switzerland. When no local channel exists, we select our foreign partners against strict criteria: CSR impact, distances, processes, traceability. We then handle all administrative and customs aspects, with a high standard of documentation.

In every case, we favour material recovery over energy recovery, and actively work on developing alternative solutions where none exist yet.

Traded materials

Some twenty industrial streams

Among the materials we manage: paper and cardboard, glass, plastics, non-ferrous metals, wood, ferrous metals, and some twenty other industrial streams.

Our operational capacity

This approach translates into volume: proven operational capacity, from Switzerland to European markets.

580
shipments transported across Switzerland in 2025
360
shipments exported to European destinations in 2025

A scale that reflects both our logistics expertise and our regulatory management capacity.

Case in practice

Reuse before recycling

In the food and pharmaceutical packaging sectors, production cardboard boxes usually have only one life before being recycled. Valo-Solutions has entered into a partnership with Carton Vert, a reuse channel: boxes are collected, palletised and put back into circulation.

The result: every reused box means recycling avoided and new production postponed.
